Turkey's Erste Company interested in producing PVC joinery in Krusevac

Turkey's Erste Company is interested in starting the production of PVC joinery in the Krusevac wood-processing plant Savremeni Dom, Assets Representative Ljubomir Sabara told Tanjug news agency Thursday.

According to him, the first talks with Erste Company are already completed, based on which it can be concluded that this company is ready to start production and hire 150 people before the start of the construction season.

With the consent of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and based on an agreement on business and technical cooperation, the Turkish company will first rent a production facility spanning 2,000 square meters and install about EUR 2 million worth of PVC joinery production equiment.

Erste Company is registered in Novi Sad, and its parent company is Sembolyapicenter from Istanbul, as it was announced on the website of the City of Krusevac. Representatives of this company said in a talk with Mayor Bratislav Gasic in early December that they would like to relocate their headquarters from Novi Sad to Krusevac. This HQ in Serbia would serve as a center for the production of equipment for the Balkans and eastern Europe.
