Another seven suspects arrested in Azotara case

On Thursday the police arrested seven persons suspected of incurring damages worth RSD 59mn and abuses in Azotara Pancevo artificial fertilizer plant, B92 reports.

The National Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) has learnt that the police arrested Agro Forum Director Dragan Mitic, Hemko owner Vera Isakovic, Citadela Director Gordan Markovic, Srbocoop Director Srboljub Zujovic, DA-CAR EURO official Aleksa Obradovic, former Azotara Pancevo Deputy Director Veljko Radojevic and Agroseme Invest Director Igor Sabo.

They are suspected of abuse of office and illegal sale of the mineral fertilizer.

Former Agriculture Minister Sasa Dragin, CES Mecon consulting company owner Zvonimir Nikezic and another seven persons were arrested for illegal sale of the fertilizers in late November. Custody of Dragin, Nikezic and another four suspects was extended for another 30 days two days ago.
