EUR 21 million for Grocka gasification project - Job entrusted to Millennium Team

Srbijagas said it had signed a 21 million euro ($27.9 million) deal for the gasification of the Belgrade neighbourhood of Grocka with municipal authorities and local Millennium Team as a subcontractor, SeeNews reports.

The project calls for the construction of around 590 kilometers of gas distribution mains, 50 kilometres of mid-pressure mains and 13 regulating and metering stations, the Serbian state-owned gas company said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday.

All households interested in connecting to the new gas distribution network will be able to apply for bank loans of three to five years under most favourable conditions, Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic said in the statement, adding the cost of connecting would not exceed 600 euro.
