Edible burger wrappers produced in Brazil

Burger lovers in Brazil no longer need to unwrap their favourite snacks before taking a bite after a fast food firm started serving them up in edible paper, Daily Mail reports.

Customers at branches of chain restaurant `Bob`s` can now enjoy their burger and its paper wrapping together in a move which has already led to a fall in the amount of discarded packaging.

In its advert for the new product, the firm shows customers happily tucking in to the paper-wrapped treats - although many are believed to have been a little confused by the change at first.

The move has been such a success that the firm has managed to significantly reduce the amount of paper waste thrown away by customers.
