Company "Telekom Austria" does not give up expansion in Central and East Europe and it is interested in Republic of Srpska and Serbia, British "Financial Times" writes.
The magazine reminds that Austrian company failed to buy "Mobi 63" in Serbia and that it also had unsuccessful participation in the auction for the third broadband Internet network in Slovakia.

However, "Telekom Austria" still plans to come out with the offer for "Telekom Republike Srpske", the value of which, according to the words of the manager of that company, Boris Nemšić, is 0.5b EUR and it could appear on the market in 2006. Nemšić believes that the company he manages has big chances for success, but he also warns that this sale could attract other interested companies, including those from Serbia.
He adds that he is more than interested in participation in the auction for the third mobile license in Serbia, for which, as "Financial Times" writes, the tender could be announced already this year with the starting price of 320m EUR.
