An agreement reached between the working group teams of Belgrade and Pristina on the collection of duties at integrated crossings between central Serbia and Kosovo officially came into force at 8 AM on Thursday.
According to a Tanjug reporter at the scene, only one truck entered Kosovo from central Serbia over Jarinje in the first hour of the implementation of the agreement.
After about 20 minutes of waiting for the inspection of documents to be done by EULEX and Kosovo Customs officers, the truck went on inside the Kosovo north.
There was no traffic jams at the Jarinje integrated crossing on Thursday morning.
The crossing, located on the road between Raska (central Serbia) and Leposavic (northern Kosovo), is managed by Kosovo Police, EULEX and Serbian Interior Ministry officers.
