Ski centers in Serbia to get financial injection of 400m CSD by the end of 2006, soon tender for construction of modern "Wellness" center on Kopaonik

Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services, Bojan Dimitrijević, said that 400m CSD from the reserve means of the Republic budget would be invested in the development of Serbian ski centers prior to the end of year 2006.

The amount of 12m EUR would be set aside from the National Investment Plan for investment into the development of skiing infrastructure on Kopaonik, Stara Mountain, Golija and tourist centers within the next year and half, Dimitrijević explained.

The Minister of Finance, Mlađan Dinkić, announced that the international tender for construction of new "Wellness" hotel on the location of the old hotel "Bačište" on Kopaonik would be announced soon.

He added that the ski track "Krčmar" would be cleansed from the NATO bombs before the beginning of the winter season, which would broaden Kopaonik's offer and bring bigger foreign currency incomes.
