Alitalia to launch Rome-Podgorica service

Italian airline Alitalia plans to offer eight new destinations from the Rome airport Leonardo da Vinci next year, one of which is Podgorica.
Alitalia's airplanes will fly between Rome and Podgorica three times a week - on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Alitalia will thus become a rival to Montenegro's flag carrier Montenegro Airlines, which also operates three flights a week between Podgorica and Rome - on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, the Podgorica daily newspaper Dnevne Novine reports.
