Buck's 2012 exports at EUR 4 million - Company to open branch office in the Near East next year

The company Buck, which exports its products to 20 countries, expects the value of its exports in 2012 to be close to EUR 4 million, Darko Budec, founder of that company engaged in industrial design and the production of lamps, says in a talk with eKapija.

- Our business is growing in all markets, except in Serbia. We have a problem in our country because our rivals focus on the purchasing power, while our focus is on quality. Our plan is to increase exports in 2013 as well, and we have already arranged several deals - says Budec.

- We have a marketing plan for the next three years and intend to commit to the opening of branch offices to expand our business. The plan for 2013 is to open an office in the Near East - he adds.

Budec points out that they are satisfied with this business year, noting that the company won several prestigious global awards for design and successfully participated in a number of international trade shows in 2012.

- Last week Buck won the oldest award for design in Europe - IF Design Award, for the second time.

This Belgrade-based company was founded 20 years ago. It employs about 70 workers and plans to hire more people in 2013. Budec has won the first Ernst&Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award ever presented in Serbia. He will represent our country at the final competition for the best European entrepreneur in Monte Carlo.
