PKB Imes invests EUR 2 million in fodder handling and preparation system

Construction of a facility for handling and preparing animal feed at Vizelj farm in Kovilovo started a long time ago. As eKapija learned, it is expected to be put in operation during the next year.

The farm Vizelj operates as part of PKB Imes. As people at that company told eKapija, the value of this project is EUR 2 million, which are provided by the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia and business banks, as well as by the company from its own resources.

As they said, Vizelj expects to repay that investment in three or four years.

- We will use the facility to satisfy the farm`s needs because it annually produces 50,000 porkers and uses 15,000 tonnes of fodder - people at PKB Imes explained.

Imes produces fresh meat and more than 70 meat products.
