Miroslav Vasin, the Vojvodina secretary of economy, stated yesterday that the Vojvodina government would provide financial assistance to investors in the Province in 2013, regardless of whether they invested in greenfield or brownfield projects.

Vasin noted that the Province would pay the year's rent for a production facility for every foreign investor who invested more than EUR 3 million and hired over 100 workers while implementing a brownfield project.

- When it comes to greenfield projects, every foreign investor who invests more than EUR 3 million and hires over 100 workers will get up to EUR 100,000 from the Vojvodina government to cover the costs of the preparation of project documentation - Vasin said and added that they would set up a special phone line for investors as well as a special information desk in the building of the Vojvodina government.

As the representatives of the Secretariat of Economy announced, the Vojvodina government will continue to grant employment incentives in 2013, which will amount to RSD 130,000 (EUR 1,300) per each newly created job.
