Another offer for procurement of Serbian glass factory

Public opening of the bid of stock company "Rubin" from Pleven in Bulgaria for procurement of 98.86% of assets of Serbian glass factory took place in the premises of the Privatization Agency.

On the basis of the analysis of qualification documentation and the opinion of the councillor of the Privatization Agency, the tender commission concluded that "Rubin" meets requirements from the public invitation for procurement of total registered assets of Paraćin-based factory.

Financial and legal advisers of the Privatization Agency will carry out estimate of the offer of the only bidder within 30 days and present the results at the meeting of the tender commission.

This is the repeated tender for procurement of Paraćin-based factory, because the first tender, announced in 2003, was unsuccessful. On that occasion, company Jula grom Greece was interested in once biggest glass factory in the Balkans.

The tender documentation has also been bought by Swiss company Vetropak, which has not submitted the offer.
