(Nebojša Nedeljković)

General manager of Belgrade-based airport "Nikola Tesla", Nebojša Nedeljković, announced that the paving of the bypass around airport complex, in which about 20m CSD was invested, would be finished by the end of the week.

The bypass around perimeter of the complex of Belgrade's airport, i.e. along the border fence, is daily used by airport security services, security patrols of the border police and flight control.

Nedeljković says that the paving of the bypass was included in the Strategy for development of the airport system and that it is carried out in accordance with the world standards in the defense system and airport prevention.

According to the words of the deputy of general manager, Goran Kaličanin, 10 km of road 2.5 m wide will be paved on the bypass. For that purpose, the recycled asphalt has been used. That asphalt was taken from the runway during its reconstruction last year.

Kaličanin added that the processing of that used asphalt had saved about 10m CSD for Belgrade's airport.
