Green Energy to build three mini solar plants and sports fields in Doljevac - Investment worth nearly EUR 5 million

Slovakia's Green Energy, a member of the Weon Group, is interested in building three mini solar power plants in the municipality of Doljevac, which is an investment worth between 4.5 and 5 million euros. Construction is expected to start in 2013.
As eKapija learned from people at Plan Urban, which is entrusted with the design of a draft plan for detailed regulation, solar power plants will be built in the Sainovac neighborhood, along the right bank of the Toplica River, and they will have the capacity of 0.999 MW each.
Our interlocutors explain that the plan should cover about 11.8 hectares of land and a corridor for a 35 kV long-distance power line. This plan should be adopted by the year's end.
The future complex of mini solar power plants is planned to include sports and recreational facilities, such as football pitch, sports and tennis courts.
The company Green Energy Slovakia earlier announced that it wanted to build solar power plants in the vicinity of Sremska Mitrovica.
