Magna Seating to start producing car seat covers in Odzaci in early December

In the industrial zone in Odzaci, construction of a production facility of Czech Republic's Magna Seating is nearing its end. Workers have almost finished the installation of machines, and everything is expected to be completed by December 5th, when the production of covers for car seats should start, it was announced at the website of the Odzaci radio company - www.ico.rs.

Construction of this factory commenced in spring 2012. As announced earlier, the value of this investment is EUR 5.6 million. Magna promised to hire about 120 workers in the first phase, whereas by 2015, that number should exceed 400.

It was also announced in early September that Magna, as well as Greiner Packaging, which also builds a facility in Odzaci, could not find managers for their factories, despite good salaries they offered.
