Prvi Maj starts production on November 5th

The management of AHA group, which bought Pirot-based Prvi Maj, announced that the production would normally start on November 5th despite the fact that a large number of workers had decided to take the social program.

One of the owners of AHA Group, Mojca Lukancic, said that a growing number of workers were deciding to continue to work for the new owner.

- I can say with certainty that the production will start Monday and run in two shifts. A total of 473 employees will work in the first shift on Monday, while about 180 workers will be on the second shift. An agreement has already been signed with them, and they will definitely come to work - said Lukancic.

According to the data provided by the company's management, 137 out of 937 production workers have less than five years until retirement, which practically means that there are about 800 workers at the Pirot factory who can continue to work.
