The most valuable military complex in Serbia - offerd for sale

The most valuable objects are in Belgrad, for example Banjički vis (11 hectars), the rifle range in Jajinci (22.6 hectars), Ugrinovačka nn in Zemun (Yugoimport is interested in it). PTT of Serbia wants to buy 5.7 hectars of land for a price of 3.5 million EUR. A part of the barracks "Vojvoda Stepa Stepanović" (25 hectars on Voždovac) is very interesting. The barracks "Jakub Kuburović" in Zemun has 4 hectars in land and 11.700 m2 in objests.

The problem with this location is that one part of it is under the protection of the Office for preservation of cultural monuments and 65 families of refugees who live there (the army wants to relocate them to the object of Military-technical institute Žarkovo).

The building in the street Savska which is currently rented by the Serbian bank will be open for selling in the beggining of the year 2007. Further on, in the street 29th of November the building of Command will be sold (1.231 m2).

The building of Generalštab (A and B) in the street knez Miloš aren't in the Master plan because they are under the protection of the Office for the preservation of cultural monuments.

The city of Belgrade is interested in many military locations. The location of the military printing office (Resavska 40a) has reacently been changed to an object in the street Krunska 13, with the obligation, that the government has taken, to fix the facades of the stone building in the street Knez Miloš 33.
