Highway Belgrade-Novi Sad will be finished by October, 1st

The section of the highway Novi Sad-Belgrade, from Novi Sad to Beska will be finished by October, 1st, as announced by the technical director of the project of construction of this part of the highway, Predrag Topalovic.

According to his words between 150 and 200 men are working daily on this track, and the examination of the pavement was done successfully as some sections are already being paved with asphalt.

The works on the left track of the road are being executed by the Austrian company "Alpina-Mairieder", and the cooperating conductors are Company for roads "Belgrade" and "Vojput" from Subotica.

Once this section is done, Belgrade and Novi Sad will be finally connected with the right road which would significantley speed up the comunication between the two cities.

After that there will be left the "tiny troat" on the bridge on the Danube near Beska, while another bridge is not yet built.

The job of constructing a new bridge will be conducting also "Alpina" along with a German company "DSD Dilinger", which had finished in the last year a construction of the Novi Sad's Bridge of liberty.
