Nova Agrobanka's clients and depositors in Postal Savings Bank as of October 29th

In accordance with the Law on the assumption of assets and liabilities of certain banks for the sake of preserving the stability of the financial system of the Republic of Serbia, the Serbian government adopted Saturday (27 October 2012) a Conclusion allowing for the Deposit Insurance Agency and the Postal Savings Bank to enter into an agreement on the transfer of Nova Agrobanka's assets and liabilities, the Postal Savings Bank said in a release.

The agreement was concluded on 27 October 2012.

The Postal Savings Bank has notified the public that all clients and depositors of Nova Agrobanka - both juristic and physical persons, who had an active account in Nova Agrobanka, can freely dispose of their money as of Monday.

In line with the agreement signed, the Postal Savings Bank has taken over 56 offices of Nova Agrobanka, which will be fully operational and functional as of this week, just like all other offices of the Postal Savings Bank, so that Nova Agrobanka's clients will continue to perform their banking transactions as before, except for the fact that they will now be able to do that in 112 offices of the Postal Savings Bank.
