About 400 workers of Nova Agrobanka to lose job

About 400 workers of Nova Agrobanka will lose their job once it merges with the Postal Savings Bank, Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic confirmed yesterday.

He added that a social program had already been prepared for them, whereas remaining 300 workers of Nova Agrobanka would get a job at the Postal Savings Bank.

At yesterday's debate about the Bill on the takeover of the property and obligations of troubled banks in the Serbian parliament, Dinkic noted that the government would confirm the agreement on the transfer of all EUR 250 million worth of insured deposits and over EUR 150 million worth of uninsured deposits from Nova Agrobanka to the Postal Savings Bank at its next session on Saturday if the parliament adopted the Bill the next day.
