Italian furniture manufacture Ditre Italia to start building factory in Vranje in early 2013

In the small hall of the City Assembly of Vranje, the city management had a meeting with the representatives of the company Top Sofa, which operates as part of Ditre Italia, and the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA). The meeting was an occasion to talk about technical conditions and town planning procedures related to the construction of Ditre Italia's production plant in the Industrial Zone in Bunusevac, reads a release at the city's official website.

The first phase of this project should see the construction of a 10,000 sqm production plant on a former military land spanning six hectares, whereas additional 28,000 square meters should be built in the second phase.

At the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Mayor Bojana Velickov, Assistant Mayor Boban Stankovic and Goran Djordjevic, member of the City Council, the City of Vranje handed a letter of intent to the representatives of SIEPA and Top Sofa together with a list of all necessary administrative and town planning procedures preceding the construction of aforementioned production plant, which is scheduled to commence in early 2013.
