Pancevo Oil Refinery to start producing Euro 5 fuels on November 1st

The modernized oil refinery in Pancevo will officially start producing Euro 5 fuels on November 1st, Kirill Kravchenko, CEO of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), confirmed to Balkanmagazin.

- NIS will be the number one not only in the quality of fuel, but also in the quality of service. We finished the modernization of the refinery in Pancevo this year, but we also previously modernized our retail network. Nearly 130 gas stations of NIS accross Serbia already operate under the new three-color brand Nis Petrol. NIS is going to invest about EUR 100 million in the modernization and construction of new gas stations in Serbia in the following period, so that we expect to have about 250 gas stations operating under the three-color brand NIS Petrol by 2014 - Kravchenko said, commenting that the improvement of the offer would also affect the position of NIS in the competition with other oil companies in Serbia and the region.

Last weekend NIS officials ceremoniously put a reconstructed gas station in Smederevo's neighborhood Carina into operation, after investing RSD 68 million in its rebranding.
