Preparatory Works for Building of the University Village Start in September 2006, MACE Belgrade Has Got the Complete Sueprvision of the Laying Out and Execution Pursuits

The Block 67 at New Belgrade intervene at the surface of 13,8 ha close to the main commercial part of the city of New Belgrade. It is surrounded by modern highways and infrastructure, so it has very good accessing to all parts of the city and existing sport centers. For this reason the Block 67 has been chosen as the best location for the future University Village, that has to be prepared for the occasion of the 25th Summer Universiade that will take place in Belgrade 2009.

Preparatory works for building of the University Village in the Block 67 at New Belgrade for the purpose of the Universiade 2009, will start in September 2006, the beginning of the construction works would be in spring 2007, announced Mr Vuk Mrvic, the Manager of the company "Block 67 Associates".

MACE d.o.o Belgrade, represented the international company Mace International, has got a very important role in this porject, to supervise all the phases of laying out and execution of all construction works.

The total value of the investment is 200 mil euros, and the investor is a company "Block 67 Associates" that is the joint venture of the Austrian "CEE Investment" and "Delta M" company. The total surface of the objects in the Village will be 200.000 sqm, and there will be 2.100 appartments for 4.200 sportists and 22.000 sqm of the business facilities. In the vicinity of this complex the shopping mall will be constructed as well, at the total surface of 87.000 sqm with shops, entertainmant facilities and business.

"The appartments in this "village" will be offered at the market in 2008, and imediatelly after the Universiade the new owners could move in", said Mr Deajn Racic, the Manager of the Delta Invest.
