For the first time since 2007, Bambi-Banat will again buy back its own shares from shareholders at the price of RSD 23,000 a piece.

This was also the price of Bambi shares at the end of the last trading week, down RSD 1,400 from the historic high in September 2007.

The company's offer to repurchase 500 shares will be open between October 8 and 24.

With the share price of RSD 23,000, Bambi's market cap amounts to RSD 8.3 billion (about EUR 72 million).

This confectioner reported a RSD 7.8 billion revenue and the net profit of nearly RSD 900 million last year.

During the first six months of this year, Bambi's business revenue dropped to RSD 3.5 billion, whereas its net profit rose from last year's RSD 330 million to RSD 376.8 million.
