Energoprojekt Holding CEO Vladimir Milovanovic stated yesterday that that company had built a 110 kW solar power plant on the roof of the Directorate building and a CHP plant within the Clinical Center of Serbia, adding that it also participated in the construction of a wind farm near Kovin for an US investor.

- Energoprojekt operates in all segments using renewable energy sources. In order to prove that we are capable of implementing certain projects by ourselves, we have built a 110 kW solar power plant on the roof of the building of Energoprojekt - Milovanovic told Tanjug news agency.

Milovanovic explained that Energoprojekt's intention was not to sell the electricity generated in that way to the Electric Power Company of Serbia at a subsidized price, but to show that it is possible to utilize certain surfaces to save energy, even in an urban and densely populated area like Belgrade.

- The value of this investment does not exceed EUR 350,000. When it comes to Belgrade, it is a significant progress - he added.
