France's Quivogne buys production facility from Becej-based Fadip

The French company Quivogne, which is engaged in the production of various auxiliary machinery for agriculture, has bought a production facility from Becej-based AD Fadip in bankruptcy, the Vojvodina Investment Promotion (VIP) Fund announced today.

According to the information provided by the Privatization Agency, this facility spanning 5,500 square meters on the old site of Fadip is paid RSD 29 million, whereas Quivogne's total investment in Serbia will reach between 800,000 and 1 million euros.

Production will be export oriented. The company from France will hire 60 people to work n Becej, 50 of whom will be directly engaged in the production, while the rest will be engineers and administrative workers.

Quivogne is a private family company founded 66 years ago. It employs 350 people at its headquarters in France and has an annual turnover of about EUR 50 million. The company also has trade offices in Austria, Ukraine, Russia and North America in addition to the one in France.
