Strategic Partnership With NIS is Very Attractive for Israel

Three Israelian companies have shown the interest for participation in the privatization process of the company JP Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS). The delegation of the Government of Serbia leaded by the Minister for Mininig and Energy, Mr Radomir Naumov, have been talking with the interested parties during their recent visit to Israel.

The law regulation system, concerning the foregin investment into the country energy sector was presented on that occasion to the companies "Israeli Corporation", "Merhab Group" and "Delek" and they are invited to participate at the tender for NIS that will be published at the end of September/ beginning November 2006.

Just to remind, the companies that will expose thier interest in the privatization of the company NIS as the partners with minority shares will be the Russian "Lukoil", Austrian "OMV", Greek "Hellenic Petroleum", Hungarian "MOL" and Polish company "PKP".
