Newly established company "M Rodic" would build the biggest hypermarket at the Balkans in New Belgrade until the end of this year

The company "M Rodic" arised upon the treaty on strategic partnership between the holding company "Rodic MB" and Slovenian company "Mercator", is planning to build the biggest hypemarket at the Balkans, until the end of 2006 at the location of the New Belgrade, the Manager of the company, Ms Stanka Curovic, announced.

On the occasion of the opening of the supermarket in Zemun, Ms Curovic said that the future newbelgradian complex will be at the surface of 65.000 sqm and further on, during a year the opening of a number of retailing objects in Pancevo, Kanjiza and Sombor is planned.

The Board President Assistant of "Mercator", Mr Stanislav Brodnjak, said on this occasion, that the company "Mercator" will become the owner of 76% of the company "M Rodic", until the end of October 2006, with the designated investment of 150 mil euros for this purpose, and the owner of the rest of the shares of the company will become until 2008.
