The Government of Serbia is opened up for issuing of the third licence for mobile telephony, as it want to give choice to its citizens and to bring up the competition so the quality of service can be raised and the prices can be decreased, stated the Serbian minister of financies, Mladjan Dinkic.
- For issuing the third licence for the mobile telephony in Serbia it takes one foreign operator who has the interest, so that the international tender as well as the public licitation could be organized, like in the case of "Mobi 63", and who ever offers more would get the licence - explained Dinkic.
Minister of financies, reminded that according to the contract of sale of "Mobi 63" to the Norveigan "Telenor", the third licence can not be sold under 320 millions EUR in the next two and a half years.
- Who ever is ready to pay for the licence 320 millions EUR can apply for it right away, but this kind of investment would cost, as it needs to build up the infrastructure, buy the equipment and set up the market - he added.
