China Snandong International as well interested in Corridor XI

The Chinese company China Shandong International, which has built the world's largest bridge 42 kilometers long, announced that it was interested in building Corridor XI in Serbia.

This company, famous as one of the giants in the field of bridge and highway construction in China and the world, said in a release that it had already organized meetings with representatives of the Serbian government to talk about the construction of a highway on Corridor XI.

Aside from Corridor XI, representatives of the Chinese company are interested in other infrastructure and strategic projects in Serbia as well, which will also be discussed with the representatives of the Serbian authorities, reads the release.

Corridor XI should connect Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and Italy through the route Timisoara-Belgrade-Bar-Bari, and it is not yet an official European corridor.

Meng Yan, director general of the Chinese company, will be staying in Serbia until Wednesday, September 26th.
