"Agroživ" from Pančevo rented 52 farms near Požarevac and plans to invest 1.5m EUR in them

- Pančevo-based company "Agroživ" has signed contracts on long-term rental of 52 poultry farms on territory of Požarevac and the region, in which the up-to-date poultry equipment worth 1.5m EUR will be installed - said the manager of the commercial sector in that company Nenad Živanov.

All facilities are of similar dimensions with surface of 1,000 square meters at average and each of them will host 20,000 - 23,000 broilers.

- When it is ready, the biggest farm "Centar", which has 42 facilities, will be able to receive about 86,000 one-day chickens in turn and it will represent the biggest poultry center in Serbia - Živanov pointed out.

According to his words, "Agroživ" will, this year, just like in the past few years, invest between 8 and 9 million EUR in modernization of production, which is, as he explained, necessary because domestic and foreign consumers are more and more choosy and they ask for products of higher technological level and quality.
