EUR 1,000 salary offered, but nobody's interested - Greiner Packaging and Magna iinternational have trouble to find employees in Odzaci

Companies Greiner Packaging and Magna iinternational cannot find managers for their future factories, Novi Magazin writes.

These two companies offer an excellent monthly salary of EUR 1,000 in the municipality of Odzaci, but very few people have expressed interest in the job so far.

This spring Austria's Greiner Packaging and Canada's Magna iinternational came to this municipality in Vojvodina in order to make greenfield investments in Odzaci and create 700 jobs. Greiner Packaging intends to invest EUR 8 million in the packaging production and to hire a total of 444 workers. On the other hand, Magna iinternational wants to employ about 120 people and build a factory for producing covers for car seats. The value of Magna's investment is EUR 5.6 million.

There are 4,600 unemployed people in the municipality of Odzaci, where the average net salary amounts to EUR 266. However, in spite of constant calls to come to work in Odzaci for an attractive monthly salary of EUR 1,000, none of the managers has so far expressed interest in accepting a job at these companies.
