Italians to invest EUR 25 million - Calzedonia interested in building factory in Apatin

Representatives of the Italian textile company Calzedonia, which produces underwear, have visited Apatin and talked with Mayor Dr. Zivorad Smiljanic and his associates about the construction of a factory within the complex of the Cargo and Transport Center (CTC) in Apatin, reads a release on the municipal website.

According to that release, their wish is to build a factory, in which about EUR 25 million would be invested over the next five years. Once completed, it would employ 405 textile workers. In order to implement this project, they require an area spanning about six hectares.
