KOVAČEVIĆ: Hydroelectric power plant "Piva" comes out of system of Electric Power Company of Serbia

Executive director of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG), Srđan Kovačević, announced that hydroelectric power plant "Piva" could soon come out of the power supply system of Serbia. "Piva" is a part of the power supply system of Serbia according to the contract on construction of power plant of the year 1976.

Hydroelectric power plant "Piva" could work without power supply system of Serbia, said Kovačević, pointing out that it was concluded after last week when "it became evident that the negotiations with the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) were being dragged out".

- At the moment, we are analysing if "Piva" could work completely independently, partially independently or it should be given to someone, who would appreciate it in the right way, to manage it - said Kovačević.
