BOŠNJAKOVIĆ: NIS to ask for cancellation of Regulation on import of euro-diesel 4

- Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will ask the Government of Serbia for gradual cancellation of the Regulation on free import of euro-diesel 4, because Serbian refineries can produce that derivative that meets European quality criteria - said general manager of NIS Srđan Bošnjaković.

He said that one of the reasons for cancellation of that regulation was control of grey economy that appeared along with free import of euro-diesel 4.

So far, the refineries in Novi Sad and Pančevo could not produce euro-diesel 4 that contains six times less sulfur that euro-diesel 3, so that the Regulation on free import of that derivatives has been in effect since June 2005.
