Edible oil Factory "Mladost" from Šid obtained loan worth 10m EUR

The representatives of the Edible oil Factory "Mladost" from Šid, which operates as a member of "Victoria" group, and the chiefs of European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development have signed the contract on one-year loan in amount of 10m EUR for promotion of sunflower production.

- By financing the one who purchases raw materials from the manufacturer, we indirectly help manufacturers, because the payment is carried out right after the takeover of goods. That's why we expect that the manufacturers will sow more oilseed plants in 2007 than before - said the manager of European Bank in Belgrade Dragica Filipović.

Co-owned of "Victoria" group and the Head of the ADministrative Board of "Sojaprotein", Zoran Mitrović, said that he hoped that that would be only the first step in the cooperation with the aforementioned bank, pointing out that the interest rates offered by the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development were lower than the interest rates in any other commercial bank in Serbia.
