Serbian companies signed contracts on jobs worth about 6.5m at recently organized Food Fair in New York

At the Food Fair, which was held in period from July 9 to 11, 2006, in New York, 18 Serbian companies realized record sale and, within only three days, signed contracts whose total value amounts to about 6.5m USD.

The aforementioned companies displayed their products in the special pavilion "Serbian Fruit", which drew attention of exceptionally big number of foreign buyers, especially interested in forest mushrooms and truffle, jams, ajvar, plum brandy and wines from Serbia.

The following companies presented their production program at the Fair in New York: "Agranela", "Agrokula", "Arex", "Aroma", "As group", "Foodex", "Foodland", "Igda", "Interfood", "Marni", "Navip", "Nektar", "Malina Produkt", "Pionir", "Sirogojno", "Stara Sokolova", "Wolf Export" and "Zadrugar".

Their appearance was financed by the Ministry of Agriculture and backed by the Serbian INvestment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) and USAID.
