New hotel at Pasina Cesma near Leskovac ready for tourists - Guests from Baghdad arrived, athletes from Arabian Gulf states expected

About fifteen physicists, engineers, students and pupils from Baghdad are spending their vacation in a green oasis that is some ten kilometers away from Leskovac. As they say, they are delighted with landscapes in the south of Serbia. A newly opened hotel at Pasina Cesma serves as their base and starting point for the tours of the south of Serbia.

This hotel at Leskovac's popular picnic grounds Pasina Cesma offers everything a tourist needs, and its guests single out personnel's kindness and the location as the hotel's greatest advantages. This is where the Iraqi start their tours of Niska Banja, Sijarinska Banja and Sokobanja, Vlasinsko Lake, Kopaonik and Novi Pazar.

- Lower night-time temperatures have made it possible for us to engage in sports activities and go out on the town in Leskovac. We've visited one of the oldest hydroelectric power stations in Serbia and the Caricin Grad (Empress' Town) site. We are greatly accepted by the citizens of Leskovac, and we feel completely free. There is no such thing in Baghdad because we live in constant fear - say young leds Mustafa and Hajdar.

The hotel staff say they expect athletes from Arabian Gulf states to arrive in about ten days and occupy half of hotel beds. They also expect guests from Russia, Italy and several other European countries.

Once completely neglected picnic grounds are now also a building site for outdoor and indoor swimming pools, sports arena and a restaurant that is being built above the stands of the new football stadium, while there are also bicycle and trim trails in this location. Investors from Emirates are expected to have a hotel for wealthier guests built within this complex in the second phase of construction, as well as an artificial lake, zoo and a horse farm.

Ballroom

This three-floor hotel has 280 beds, ballroom, large restaurant and other amenities. All rooms are "intelligent rooms" and feature up-to-date furniture. The hotel also meets the highest environmental standards. A congress center within the hotel has 400 seats and is the biggest in the south of Serbia.
