The Government of Serbia have signed the agreement with the representatives of the governments of Austria, Germany and Switzerland on technical aid worth 800,000 EUR, intended for promotion of regulations about city building land.

The agreement includes provision of aid of experts from these three European countries to the authorized agencies in Serbia. They will, as the Minister of International Economic Relations of Serbia, Milan Parivodić, explained, propose the draft law to the Government on November 1, which will regulate denationalization of the city building land, city planning and legalization of illegally built facilities, as well as more efficient issuing of building permits.

The aim of the entire project is that the deadlines for issuing of permits, which now last for 1.5 - 2 years, be shortened to 2-4 months.
