Council for Serbia's economic recovery to be formed in August 2012

Serbian Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic stated that a council for Serbia’s economic revival would be formed by the end of August, adding that it would propose ideas and measures for the country’s economic recovery, it was announced on the Serbian government's website. In an interview for today’s issue of Press daily, Dacic said that the council would comprise economists, businessmen and bankers – all who can employ their knowledge and experience to help Serbia prosper.

The Prime Minister said that those people knew what the economy needed in order to spring back to life and can find ways to preserve current jobs and create new ones.

He noted that the members of that council would work pro bono.
