The Chileans interested in Mining-Smeltery Basin (RTB) "Bor"

Mining-Smeltery Basin "Bor" has been visited by the delegation of company "Antofogasta" from Chile, which expressed the interest in procurement of that company.

The representatives of "Antofogasta", the president of which is Antonio Lukšić, born in Dalmatia, spoke with the management of RTB about their intention to buy mines in Bor and Majdanpek, Smeltery and Copper Refinery.

So far, companies from Italy, Australia and Romania showed interest in purchase of RTB Bor, whereas the majority owner of company "East Point Group", Zoran Drakulić, is interested in procurement of Smeltery.

The management of RTB should announce tender for sale of that company at the beginning of August 2006.
