1H 2012 saw NIS generating net income of RSD 22bn

Today, at the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the General Manager of the Naftna industrije Srbije (NIS) Kyril Kravchenko, presented NIS business results during the first six months over which the company business expansion continued despite difficult market conditions.

In 1H2012, NIS generated net income of RSD 22 bn which is nominally slight increase in comparison to the same period last year, most of all due to negative dinar exchange rate and oil price fluctuation in the world market.

EBITDA totaled RSD 36.8 bn which is an increase of 80% compared to the same period last year while sales totaled RSD 97 bn and also had a two -digit growth.

Kravchenko mentioned he expected an income of at least RSD 40 bn his year. As the major problem he pointed out Srbijagas debt of EUR 150 mil, stressing out he expected negotiation with new government on the issue.
