First Serbian "low cost" airliner "Centavia" obtained license for transportation of passengers in both route and charter traffic

On July 7, 2006, the Directorate for Civilian Aviation of Serbia issued the license without limits for flying in the regular route and charter traffic to the representatives of private air transportation company "Centavia", so that that company will start to transport passengers very soon.

The first flights will be realized to Corfu and Crete. In addition to Greek destinations, "Centavia" intends to take tourists to Turkey, Egypt and Spain during this summer.

According to the ambitious plan of the co-owners, Zvonko Gobeljić and Predrag Vujović, that Belgrade-based company will transport passengers on the regular flights to Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Slovakia starting from Autumn and introduction of the winter flight schedule.

"Centavia" will fly with two four-engine jet airplanes "Bae 146", also known as "jumbolino". These aircrafts, equipped with 98 leather seats, are economical and suitable for regional traffic.
