Hungarian bank "OTP" bought majority package of stocks of "Kulska banka"

Bank "OTP", the third biggest bank in Hungary, announced that it had bought 67% of stocks of "Kulska banka" for 118.6m EUR and that the transaction would be completed prior to October 2006.
"OTP" has already entered Serbian market by last-year procurement of "Niška banka". Also, the realization of the last phase in the takeover of Belgrade-based "Zepter banka" is underway.
The headquarters of the new bank will be settled in Kula.
