Starting July 10, 2006, the flights to Podgorica and Tivat will be treated as the international flights by the decision of Airport "Nikola Tesla" and Government of Serbia.

The passengers would get aboard on Terminal 2 at the Belgrade's airport and they would pass through the passport and customs control, Nebojša Starčević, acting general director of "JAT Airways", pointed out.

He announced that "JAT" would ask from the Ministry of Capital Investments of Serbia and Directorate for Air Transportation not to let "Montenegro Airlines" fly from the airports in Belgrade and Niš to the third destinations, because it was foreign airliner.

Besides, Starčević protested because of the mistake of the Directorate related to obtaining of Category 1, due to which company "JAT Airways" is not allowed to fly to USA and Canada.

Also, he criticized the way in which "low cost" companies "Master Airways" and "Centavia" had been registered in Serbia, adding that both companies were founded according to the Law on economic organizations and not by the Law on air transportation, so that neither of them had not had AOS, i.e. Certificate on capability for flying, which was the basic precondition.
