In village Rošci near Čačak, on Kablar mountain, the equipping of the regional ecology center, in which the young students will be trained how to preserve environment, will soon start.
The center will accept first students at the beginning of 2007 and the experiences from the similar camps from partner municipalities of Agria in Greece and Brezno in Slovakia will be used. For construction works and equipping of center at the height of about 700 m above the sea level, European Agency for Reconstruction provided 102,530 EUR, while the Municipality of Čačak set aside 42,960 EUR from the budget.
The plan is that the children, students and mountain climbers from the territory of west Serbia camp in Rošci, in groups, as well as their peers from the partner municipalities in other countries. They will listen to the lectures on biology, geography, physics and other subjects that are important for preservation of healthy environment.
