LOTO "jack pot" for local self-management in Serbia – municipalities all around Serbia received 317m CSD from lottery games only in first half of year 2006

The Minister of State Administration and Local Self Management of Serbia, Zoran Lončar, has paid a visit to Sremski Karlovci and handed over 4,443,000 CSD worth of aid from the lottery games to the representatives of local authorities. That money will be used for financing of the municipal projects.

According to his words, total of 317m CSD from the lottery games were distributed among the local self-managements in Serbia in 2006 in two cycles. In the first cycle, 110m CSD was given to 55 municipalities in Serbia, whereas in the second cycle, which is in progress, 70 municipalities obtained 207m CSD.

The Minister pointed out that all municipalities are invited to take part in the third cycle that will be opened by the middle of July 2006. Distribution of the projected means of about 107m CSD will commence at the beginning of September.
