Production of Fiat 500L starts July 2012

Kragujevac-based factory will launch the production of a brand new model Fiat 500L next month, B92 cited Fiat Automobili Srbija (FAS) Commercial Director Gerry Clarke as saying.

He stressed that the new model would be intended for the global market.

- The Fiat Group is in the important phase of development, investments and growth, which hit the peak in this region - he added.

Clarke announced the start of production at the opening ceremony for a Fiat sales and service center in Banja Luka, which marked the beginning of cooperation between Fiat and Marketauto.

- Alongside Italy and Serbia, the sales showroom in Banjaluka will be the first to offer Fiat 500L in late autumn - Clark said.

Banja Luka-based Marketauto is a sister company of Euromodus, which has been cooperating with Iveco as an authorized dealer of car parts and vehicles for the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
