Huawei enters corporate sector - Chinese company's ICT solutions presented in Belgrade

After touring Sweden, Poland, Austria and Hungary, the Huawei Enterprise demo truck also visited Belgrade last week. The latest solutions developed by the Chinese company, such as network infrastructure, terminals, applications and mobile telephones, were presented on June 12th and 13th in front of Belexpocentar in New Belgrade.

The exhibition was opened by Minister of Police Ivica Dacic, who said on that occasion that the cooperation between China and Serbia was on an enviable level.

He expressed the satisfaction with the fact that Huawei, as a leader in the global communications market, operated in the market of Serbia, offering information and communication technologies.

According to his words, the need for new business models based on information and communication technologies for the improvement of the Ministry's services to citizens has led to a cooperation between the Ministry of Police and the company Huawei.

Huawei Group Vice President Allen Go said that the company had moved his focus from telecommunications to solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in the last few years.

- Huawei offers broad and efficient ICT solutions and services to business users of any size, including the government authorities, public sector, SMEs, energy sector, telecommunication operators, internet and television providers - Go noted.

He stated that the company would move its focus from communication to information technologies over the next decade.

Aleksandar Plecevic, sales manager at Huawei, says for eKapija that in Serbia, that company has so far been known to telecom operators Telekom, Telenor and Vip, adding that the focus will be placed on the corporate sector in the following period.

- The Demo Truck Road Show 2012 is an occasion for us to present corporate solutions for small, medium-sized and large enterprises. By focusing on that market, Huawei wants to establish new partner relations with government institutions, public sector, transportation companies, energy sector and internet providers - Plecevic explains.

He stresses that they are still focused on modern ICT technologies, cloud computing, green data centers, video communication and Unified Communication Collaboration.

As Plecevic explains, another strategic orientation of the company is to establish a partner relationship with system integrators.
