NIS starts modernization of operations and several gas stations

At the meeting held on June 26, 2006, the Administrative Board of the Petroleum INdustry of Serbia (NIS) made several investment decisions, which relate, first of all, to modernization of the network of gas stations and the logistics in the turnover of oil derivatives. Also, there is a new software package for survey and control of investments, worth about 100m USD on annual basis.

It is the new information solution in accordance with the world standards, which will enable saving, in comparison with the former realization, of up to 10%. The system is introduced at the level of entire NIS.

Gas stations of "Jugopetrol" and "Naftagas promet", first of all, along Corridor 10 and then in Vrnjačka Banja, Šabac, Pančevo, Ruma, Zrenjanin, Vršac, Kikinda and Beočin will be able to offer services equal to the services of prestigious oil companies, NIS announces.
